1. Fold Down Fixture Is Excellent

   I found this wind deflector easy to mount on and/or remove from the vehicle. The fold down feature is excellent, it allows me to install the wind deflector at the start of the season and the remove it at the end of the season. However if required it can be easily removed. I believe it has reduced the fuel consumption while towing, however this is difficult to measure as the other influences such as wind and air temperature vary with each trip. It also increases the wind noise a small amount but it is not uncomfortable. All in all I am very happy with this device and would recommend it to any one

2. I got 1 to 1.5 mpg more at 65 mph

   Finally got to use my WD400 wind deflector while evacuating from hurricane Gustav. Findings are preliminary, but looks like I got 1 to 1.5 mpg more at 65 mph. Of course, the first 100 miles was stop and go evacuation traffic doing perhaps 25-35 mph but the remaining 300 miles were fairly steady highway speeds. Can't wait to try it again on a long haul with constant speeds and conditions. Thanks, Butch Landreneau Lafayette, LA., USA

   This is the best thing I have bought to help with fuel mileage and it keeps bugs off the camper. It helps with a head wind. I love it and think if you do not have one you should get one it will save you money !!!!.....
